About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedService Managerwith a strong background in Supported Living to work with a leading Learning diabilities charity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing change and improving the quality of life for individuals with a learning disability. They will also demonstrate exceptional leadership to our recently established support team, including practice leadership skills, whilst ensuring the continued smooth transition for the people we support while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.You will play a pivotal role in:
- Managing the continued transition to supported living.
- Enhancing service quality for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Coaching and developing a new team, emphasising best practices and practice leadership.
- Ensuring the service remains compliant and financially viable.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience managing medium to large supported living or residential services.
- A background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Proven skills in team development and driving quality care.
- Knowledge of legal frameworks, such as DoLS and capacity/best interest requirements.
- NVQ Level 3 or QCE Level 5 qualifications (or a willingness to achieve this).
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to participate in an on-call rota.
